Forget Dancing on Ice, it’s time for Wakeboarding on Ice!

Thats right, finally something good to watch on ice, it’s time for Wakeboarding on Ice! On the most recent Red Bull Winch session Red Bull took the pros out of the warmth of florida and put them somewhere a little colder. Red Bull decided they were going to make a rail out of ice and get Adam Errington, JD Webb and Josh Trancy to shred it. It’s pretty cool check out the video:

One Set with Harley Clifford

Well most of you will know that Harley Clifford is a ridiculously good rider and as this video shows he is just getting better and more consistant. In one set he lands 10s, grabbed 9s, whirley dicks and much more, theres not much more to say other than the boy is sick.

Winching a Cranberry Field

Red Bull has started a set of videos based around winching and for their 3rd video they thought where better to do a bit of winching than a cranberry bog! They got Josh Tranby to bring his board and headed down to Tomah, Wisconsin for a wakeboarding session that we have to say does look pretty cool. Here’s the vid:

World’s first Double Half Cab Roll on the cable!

You may have seen Parks Bonifay do one of these on a few films, including the first on the old school film Free for All, but the first double half cab roll has been landed on a cable, on a long line! It was landed by Ethan Agius, a rider relatively unknown outside of Australia, but is definitely a little ripper. Anyway enough chat all there is to say is that its a sick trick, Congrats Ethan, here is the video:

Tom Fooshee a.k.a. The Foosh!

Most of you will have heard of Tom Fooshee and will probably know that he is a sick rider on the cable and the boat and this is one of the reasons he was voted alliance rider of the year for 2010 and rightly so. He rides on the cable pretty much everyday and has always pushed himself and the sport to new limits and recently is no exception. Here is a video done by Kenneth Wolber of some of Tom’s recent riding and as always he is killing it, hope you enjoy it!

2010 Texas Ski Ranch Cablestock

Every year Texas Ski Ranch have Cablestock and it is always a big event, with a cable comp, pool gap, bikini contest and various other things going on! As always the event attracts some big guns and this year was no different with Tom Fooshee and Nick Davies turning up. This video from the event is of all the best bits and as you can see the riding on the day was unreal and the bikini contest wasn’t bad either! Here it is:

Monster Energy Wakeboarders in Ibiza

Monster Energy has created a new ‘Earn your stripes’ series of videos and in this wakeboard one you get to see Monster ‘Generals’ Nick Davies (current cable world champ) and Nico von Lerchenfeld head out to Ibiza for some wakeboarding and partying with new recruit Rocco van Straten to see what he can do on and off the boat! The riding in this video is pretty sick and the team atmosphere on Monster seems to be great and hopefully there will be a lot more vids like this.

An Australian Wakeboard film – ‘On The Line’

So Chris Flaxman from Australia has decided to make a wakeboard film featuring all the great Australian riders like Matty Denittis, Sam Gunn, Jarrod Askew, Tony Iacconi, Matty Hasler, Sam Collins, and the man of the moment at the minute Mr Harley Clifford plus many more! This film is going to called ‘On The Line’ and will have both cable and boat riding in and looks like it is going to be great! All of these riders can do crazy moves and like us we are sure you can’t wait to see the full film, but until then here’s the trailer for you to check out:
