So Revolution cable is a relatively new cable in the States. It’s located in Fort Myers, Florida; they have a really cool laid back atmosphere there and the cable is sick too. It doesn’t have any real local pros yet but very often you see some from other cables. This is a recent video from the cable featuring well known riders like Rob Mapp, Marc Shuster, Donald Shelbrick, Nick Kamper and Revolution rider and cable operater Josh Wright throwing down in Fort Myers, if you are ever nearby make sure you check it out!

So most of you know that Nick Davies is quite the expert when it comes to spins with countless 1080′s under his belt, well the spinning machine has moved away from boats and cables and onto jet skis. Nick was being pulled by Aaron Rathy who has got himself a nice Rockstar inspired PWC (Jet ski).

Most of you have probably heard of Tom Fooshee, and if you are lucky enough to have seen him ride you know how sick he is! His home cable it Texas Ski Ranch (TSR) where he recently won the Cable Stock event that was held there. Norbi Vasko went over for the event and took his camera to do some filming; he filmed the event, but also did some filming while the event wasn’t on. Here’s a video that he has done of Tom riding at TSR and he explains Tom’s tricks in the vid the best ‘hammers after hammers’.

So the yearly Wakeboard and Music festival that is Cable Stock and takes place at Texas Ski Ranch has been and gone and once again it was a great event with an estimated turn out of over 10.000 people! With Riders like Tom Fooshee, Nick Davies, Cody Johnson, Marc Schuster, Chad Sharpe, and Kevin Henshaw just to name a few there was guaranteed to be some epic riding. The cable competition was crazy with tricks like Pete 5′s, HS BS 7′s, Smobe 5′s, Crow Mobe 5′s, inside slim’s, whirley 5′s and a switch toeside 1080. Everyone expected that the men’s final would be Tom Fooshee and Nick Davies, but the UK’s Nick Davies sustained an injury on his opening lap that would prevent him from riding the rest of the day. It ended up with Tom taking the 1st spot and Ski Rixen’s Marc Schuster taking 2nd.
James Hooper or Hoop Dogg, Hoopinater, Hoopertron or one of the many other names people know him as has been around the UK Wakeboarding scene for a long time and is one of the UK riders that ride for Liquid Force. If you have ever been to Princes cable then you probably have seen him there. Princes is Hooper’s home cable and he rides boat and cable and rides them very well. Hooper is usually mucking around on the cable or generally causing trouble around Princes, but earlier this year he went to Loch Lomond Wakeboard with Liquid Force to do some coaching and demos.

We have had a few videos of Harley Clifford on the site and if you haven’t watched them do because he has a crazy amount of tricks and makes them all look sick! He is definitely 1 rider to watch at the minute especially after winning the Wakestock Abu Dhabi event. Well Mr Clifford just added something new to his bag of tricks, a toeside 1080′! So we have had quite a few videos from Mr Norbi Vasko on the site so far and thats because we think he is a great filmer/editor and he isn’t a bad rider either. He is a keen wakeboarder and thats maybe why his films come out so good! He made a trip to the cable in Tampa recently with some mates and made a little film of the action, there is some sick riding in this vid and we can’t wait to see some more videos of these riders!
